By 2030, McCain aims to implement regenerative agriculture practices across 100% of their global potato portfolio. To get there, they’ve created a Regenerative Agriculture Framework working hand in hand with growers to drive meaningful change. As more farmers adopt these practices, our customers benefit from a wider choice of sustainable products.

Future-Proofing the Supply Chain

McCain recognises the challenges posed by climate change and is taking steps to build resilience across their supply chain. In 2020, they launched the McCain Potato Farmer Pledge—a £25 million investment in British potato farming. This pledge supports growers with grants for new harvesting capacity and more sustainable growing methods.

Packaging Innovation

Sustainable packaging is a priority, and McCain has set ambitious 2025 goals:

• 100% of packaging designed to be recyclable, reusable, or compostable
• 100% of plastic packaging designed to be recyclable
• 100% of paper packaging designed to be recyclable
