Bró Coffee began life in 2015 to bring a luxury coffee solution to the market. Since then, we have worked tirelessly with our head roaster and mentor Gareth to develop many award-winning blends and single origin range to cater for the ever-increasing coffee market. We roast weekly in a purpose built 4000sq.ft facility on the shores of Strangford Lough, using a Loring Roaster, the first of its kind in Ireland ,which is famous for its efficiency, consistent roast and cleanness of finished product. We combine our love for the perfect coffee with the latest technology, to monitor and check water activity, moisture density to set all our profiles... so as Gareth says...” Crafted with Passion, Perfected by Science”

The Bró Coffee offices are based outside Ballynahinch and our biggest focus is on sustainability. We were the first coffee producer to introduce 100% Biodegradable cups that can go directly into your food waste or compost.

All our Home Bró packaging is the same, from our corn starch package filler, the bags your coffee arrives, and the box used for your delivery can go straight to your compost along with your coffee grounds. We are constantly looking for ways to improve what we do to support the planet around us.

‘Larrost’ by Bró Coffee, is a special blend created exclusively for Sysco using a perfectly balanced consistent roast of the highest quality- Brazilian Cerrado (Pulped Natural), Colombian Supremo (Washed) and Ethiopian Sidamo (Washed) green beans.

We use a closed loop roasting system on a Loring Roaster (first in Ireland) which leads to cleaner finished product removing more husk from the green bean in the most environmentally friendly way. Each Bró Roast is created with passion and perfected with science, using the most up to date technology combined with the desire to create the perfect espresso. The combination of the Brazilian and Columbian beans roasted to a medium profile creates a consistent finished product that delivers notes of dark chocolate, caramel with a hint of nut and the Ethiopian bean brings out the brightness of the espresso with hints of Granny Smith apple, which leads to a juicy acidity. Only handpicked 100% Arabia Beans make it into the Larrost. This ensures that we craft a smooth memorable espresso that also has enough body to punch through any milk-based drink.
