Hand-roasted in small batches.

Having first opened as a coffee shop in Tuam, Co. Galway in 2008, The Galway Roast owner, Niall Murphy, bought a small 1 kilo roaster which he set up on site to develop his own signature coffee blend. Spending his evenings experimenting with different coffee bean blends, often taste testing with his regular local customers, the artisan producer crafted the perfect coffee flavour. That same signature blend has never changed.

Faced with the sudden impact due to the pandemic, Niall saw an opportunity to take sales online and diversify into the retail market, subsequently setting up a new production facility outside Athlone. As the influx of customer support grew and grew, Niall decided to expand Galway Roast Coffee even further venturing into wholesale. With that in mind, Niall invested in automated grinding and bagging machinery, growing Galway Roast Coffee production capacity and putting the business in a position where they could facilitate wholesale of their coffee.

The unique blend of beans from Brazil, Guatemala and Honduras are all Roasted separately and then blended into a distinct smooth tasting coffee. Niall roast’s in small batches to ensure Irelands freshest coffee tastes as it should when it reaches your cup!
