Their wines are rich and complex; balancing savoury notes, minerality, wild herbs, flowers, and complex fruit profiles. Friuli itself is micoclimatically similar to the Central Vineyards of the Loire Valley with cool temperatures and a complex blend of soil types. The resulting wines tend to be favoured by those who love Sancerre, Pouilly-Fumé and Menetou-Salon.Attems have long been masters of producing Sauvignon Blanc and Pinot Grigio is this rich and mineral style.
The Range
Sauvignon Blanc: One for lovers of Sancerre, this aromatic Sauvignon offers aromas of intense citrus, green fruits and gooseberry. Om the palate the wine is medium bodied with high acidity and intense lemon, lime fruits with leafy herbs (basil, parsley, mint) in the finish.
Pinot Grigio, Ramato: Rich and complex with impressions of white peach, cantaloupe melon, blackberry, morello cherry and apple blossom. Crisp and mineral on the palate with notes of red berry fruits, sun dried tomatoes and rhubarb with clean acidity and a ling finish.
Pinot Grigio: This aromatic and fresh Pinot Grigio is packed full of notes of ripe peaches, Williams pear, elderflower, chamomile, oregano citrus and minerality. Full bodied yet fresh on the palate with ripe orchard fruits and white flowers.
