Ingredients:
- BF1254 Chuck and brisket burger 227gr 8oz
- BR989Z BBQ Burger Bun with Black Sesame Seeds 4.5"
- 497402 Nduja Picante
- 86274 Caramelised onion chutney
- Sl333 Cos lettuce
- 497034 Gherkins
- MT114 American style mustard
- 490641 Mayonnaise
- 497026 Smoked Cheddar Cheese Slices
- TM189 Beef tomatoes
Method:
- Season your patties with a generous amount of salt.
- Place your patties down on a hot flat pan or griddle and smash the beef flat using a burger press or spatula.
- Allow the patty to cook for roughly 5 mins on each side, smashing for 20 seconds every minute to ensure a dark, caramelised and delicious crust.
- Toast or steam your burger bun.
- Spread the gherkin remoulade on the bottom piece of the bun and the onion chutney on the top piece of the bap. *TIP - the reason we put the chutney on the top of the bun is the receptors in the top of the mouth pick up the sweet and sharp tastes, otherwise they can get a bit lost.
- Place the burger on the bottom bun and spread on a thin layer of the Nduja sausage then lay on a slice of the smoked cheese. Toast this under a salamander or place in an oven for one minute to melt the cheese slightly.
- Build the burger with a layer of cos and a layer of beef tomato finally another spoonful of the gherkin remoulade. Close out the bun and serve.
