At Folláin we love sharing our passion for good food and eating well through our dedication to making delicious fruit preserves, relishes and chutneys. Our ethos of creating wholesome and natural food is imbued in everything we do. We only use the finest natural ingredients and never any additives or preservatives.
Folláin was born using a 100-year-old grapefruit marmalade recipe that has been passed down through family generations. After bringing that recipe to market in 1983, Peadar and Máirín Ó Lionáird and their family have been creating preserves in Ballyvourney, Co. Cork ever since. Our love for home cooking is at the heart of our Folláin preserve ranges. We love sharing our passion for good food and eating well through our dedication to making delicious fruit preserves, relishes and chutneys. This year, Folláin is celebrating 40 years in business. Folláin is wholesome by name and to us, that means good food pure and simple! In the 40 years we’ve been in business that commitment is just getting stronger! A wholesome, more sustainable future is what we want to assure and making good food in a sustainable way is how we intend to do it.

The Traditional Recipe Range has been created at our kitchen table, for you to share and enjoy with your family. The Traditional Recipe range is a decadent range of preserves with an intense taste as each bucket contains +50% fruit. At Folláin, we embrace what nature has to offer, and we combine our passion for taste and flavour to create recipes that inspire.
Folláin No Added Sugar Preserves
Our commitment to wholesome, healthier food led to the introduction of a No Added Sugar Range which is just as sweet as the traditional taste our customers expect. The Folláin No Added Sugar range is sweetened naturally with grape juice. Each jar contains 100% fruit of the finest quality and never any refined sugars or artificial sweeteners. An inspiration which is so simple, it's genius, no sugar, just fruit!
Folláin Chutney and Relishes
Our savoury food service range, made using premium and natural ingredients. Folláin relishes and chutneys are the perfect accompaniment with cheese, charcuterie, burgers and salads. They are also an excellent addition to sandwiches for a different flavour profile. Folláin are based in the Gaeltacht in West Cork, we embrace what nature has to offer. We combine our passion for taste and flavour, to create recipes that inspire.
