Eurial Goats Cheese has a fine, soft, melt-in-the-mouth texture with the typical, bold taste of French goat’s cheese. Its frank, goat-like taste is characteristic of mature goat cheeses. This log is ideal for cold and hot use, for hot goat cheese salad, savoury pies, pizzas, puff pastry, toast as an aperitif, or as an aperitif tray at the end of the meal. Eurial Goats Cheese is made using lactic coagulation of milk and then pasteurised. A small amount of rennet and salt is added and then it is matured in a temperature controlled environment called ‘hâloir’. Penicillium grows creating the typical mould on top of the cheese. 7 to 9 days for ripening. As it matures, taste becomes bolder and texture softer. Eurial's recipe uses microbiological enzymes (non-animal). Eurial products are therefore suitable for vegetarians.
