Sideways

Author of the novel Sideways, from which the cult wine movie was adapted, Rex Pickett has announced his Sideways Pinot Noir, “a wine that I believe in with all my heart and soul,” he says. “After many fits and starts, I have finally found a Pinot I’m proud to put my name on.”

In search of a wine that was both expressive of the grape and affordable, Pickett met Carlos Kuscevic of VIA Wines, tasted their wines from the Casablanca Valley and launched this partnership. Located southwest of Santiago, this valley is one of the primary and most famous wine regions in Chile, recognised for the maritime influence of the Pacific and the granite clay soils that create a rich tapestry of terroirs.
