Tierra de Castilla

Located 40 miles south of Madrid, the Castilla region lies in the heart of Spain. The majority of wine production relies on the Cencibel varieties — a regional clone of Tempranillo — as well as Airén, a relatively neutral white grape that thrives in this arid region. The area is renowned for its full-bodied red blends with ripe tannins and robust fruit and spice aromas.
