Stafford's Bakeries, founded by Sean Stafford Snr in the late 1950s, has a rich history of producing quality baked goods. In the early 1990s, the bakery moved to Clonattin Industrial Estate in Gorey to facilitate expansion, and today it operates three on-site bakeries. Bakery 1 produces fresh bread and cakes under the Stafford's brand, delivering nationwide daily. Bakeries 2 and 3 specialize in frozen par-baked bread, offering both own-brand and Stafford's Bakery products. The company also houses a high-care fresh cream room, producing a range of dairy cream products.

With Sean Stafford Jnr as the current Managing Director, the company employs between 400 to 450 staff, embodying family values with the third generation of Stafford’s involved in management. Stafford's Bakery takes immense pride in its craftsmanship and has received 20 Blas na hÉireann awards since 2020, a testament to its unwavering dedication to quality and flavour.
